EBDC Auto-Technics Consulting P/L trading as EBDC Auto-Technics was originally established in August 2010 primarily as an automotive training and consulting organisation. With the passion for training and life-long learning, we provide services to various Registered Training Organisation catering to international and local students.

In June 2019, however, a business opportunity to own and operate an automotive service and repair workshop came. With the transition and additional set-up done, we opened our doors to the public in August 2019, and ever since the business has quickly made a name for itself as a quality repairer of vehicles throughout Melbourne’s western suburbs, helping customers in Sunshine, Braybrook, Footscray, Tottenham, Ardeer, Deer Park, Derrimut and beyond.

Specialising in general mechanical and electrical repairs, tyre fitting and wheel balancing for all makes and models of vehicles, we are glad to help whoever visits the workshop, whether they drive a late model vehicle or a classic from the 60s.

As a VACC Accredited repairer, we comply with all VACC equipment, training, and workmanship standards, so when you see the orange sign at our workshop, you have a guarantee of premium quality, backed by the Victorian Automobile Chamber of Commerce.

Our Managing Director is well trained in Dealer and Distributor operations since he has an extensive experience working in these very fields. About the facilities

Workshop

Many workshops claim to have a clean and tidy workshop. At EBDC Auto-Technics we take it another level by employing a common office keeping methodology known as 5S – Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain.

With automotive repair, however, a sixth S needs to be practised – Safety. At EBDC safety is our highest priority, for staff, customers, and anyone else who visits the shop. We have a strict policy, where all hazards must be marked with safety signs to alert everyone of the potential danger and to provide direction safety zones, with safety perimeter lines clearly marked and the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment strictly observed.

Parking

At EBDC Auto-Technics you won’t have to park on the street, with dedicated parking bays at the front of our business in addition to a priority parking spot for disabled drivers.

Customer Lounge

If your repair or service is expected to take a matter of hours, you can wait in our well-equipped customer lounge, with access to:

We have a second-floor seperate office area for customers to make payments for our services, discuss confidential matters with discretion and conduct other business matters as required.

about the managing director

Edward has over 30 years of experience in the automobile industry. Starting out as an Apprentice in 1989, then working as a Mechanic and increasingly higher level Technician until 1993 when he became the Foreman of the Workshop he had started out as an Apprentice only four years earlier. From there, Edward quickly became the Workshop Manager and In-House Instructor, before moving on to increasingly higher qualified Technical Instructor and Teacher roles both overseas and in Australia.

Edward is also a Graded Member of the Institute of Automotive Mechanical Engineers (IAME), and has been since 2011.

His mantra in life is “Dream without action is like a vehicle without wheels, it gets you nowhere.”
